On Friday, November 17, 2017 Ms. Bernice Marie Cowden (nee Muskego) of Cold Lake passed away at the age of 71 years. Bernice is survived by her grandchildren; Naomi Muskego (Christopher Scott), Desiree Peigan, Kihewisquew Machiskinic (Jaden Anderson), Dakota Machiskinic , Alexander Machiskinic, Emma Muskego. Great Grandchildren; Seraela-Lee Muskego, Tyra Muskego, Drayton Muskego, Amarie Scott and her siblings; Marcel (Beatrice) ,Robert (Monica)  and Carmella (Leo). Bernice was predeceased by her daughter; Wendy, grandson son; Lehi  Peigan, parents; Pierre and Caroline and her siblings; Francis, David, Helen, Lawrence, Martha, Brenda and Vernon..
Wake on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at the Spiritual Centre, Cold Lake First Nations. Funeral Mass, Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at 1:00 p.m., St. Raphael. Interment at the Cold Lake First Nations Community Cemetery.
