January 16, 1941 – March 29, 2013
On Friday, March 29, 2013 Mrs. Verniece Hannah Dyck (Ayers nee Sales) of Pierceland, SK passed away at the Bonnyville Health Care Centre Long Term Care Unit at the age of 85 years. Verniece will be lovingly remembered by her husband John Dyck of Pierceland, her daughter Evon (Ross) Somers of Rich Lake, her 4 sons; Floyd (Phyllis) Ayers of Cherry Grove, Brian (Nettie) Ayers of Cold Lake, Brad (Darlene) Ayers of McRae and Kevin (Tammy) Ayers of Cold Lake, 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Verniece was predeceased by her 1st husband Lyman Hulbert “Hob” Ayers, her parents; Bruce and Etta Sales as well as numerous siblings.
A visitation was held on Friday, April 5, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Cherry Grove. A funeral service was held on Friday, April 5, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Lloyd Brown officiating. Interment followed at the Cherry Grove Community Cemetery with Cal Somers, Brent Ayers, Brent Hellerud, Kylan Ayers, Karson Ayers, Dillon Ayers and Austin Paton as pallbearers.
Memorial tributes in memory of Verniece may be made to the Bonnyville Health Centre Long Term Care Unit, Bag 1008 Bonnyville, AB T9N 2J7
