Obituary of Sophie Girard

Sophie passed away, January 14th, 2013, at the Bonnyville Extendicare at the age 99 years and 8 months.
Born in Saint-Ambroise P.Q May 25th, 1913, she was the last surviving of a family of 7 sisters and 2 brothers.
Leaves 8 children: Thérèse Dallaire, Hélène (Léon) Lavoie, Gabrielle (Louis) Tellier Réal, Fernande (Ghislain) Bergeron, Jean-Claude, Benoît (Marlene) Girard et Lise (Richard) Bradley, 19 grand-children, 42 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
The celebration of her life was held at Église Saint-Louis and the Centre Culturel in Bonnyville, Saturday January 19th 2013. Her cremated remains will be taken to the Cimetière de Saint-Isidore, beside her husband Fernando and children Noëlla and Luc. She was predeceased by 2 grand-children Jacques and Marc Dallaire, and also by great-grandchild Daniel Tellier.
