Obituary of Gordon Francis Janvier

On Friday, January 4, 2013 Mr. Gordon Francis Janvier of Lethbridge formerly of Cold Lake passed away at the age of 61 years. Gordon will be remembered by his common law Geraldine WhiteQuill, his children; Beverly, Kim, Delany, Coleman, Charity, Keith, MJ, Kendra and Quincey, his siblings; Pauline (Baptiste) Blackman, Celina Hewer, Adelaide Janvier, John (Karen) Janvier, Joanne (Cecil) Desjarlais and Walter (Cynthia) Janvier. Gordon was predeceased by his parents; Maurice and Eva Janvier, sister Bernadette Janvier and brothers; Francis and Peter Janvier. A prayer vigil was held on Thursday and Friday, January 10 & 11, 2013 at the Cold Lake First Nations Band Hall. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, January 12, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Raphael’s Roman Catholic Parish, Cold Lake First Nations. Interment followed at the Cold Lake First Nations Community Cemetery.
