McEWEN, Iona
It is with great sadness that Mr. Joseph Robert McEwen of Cold Lake announces the passing of the love of his life for the past 56 years, Iona Lillian McEwen at the age of 84 years. Along with Bob Iona will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Carol-Anne (Dave) Schoettle of Cold Lake, her grandchildren; Carly and Ashley McEwen of Edmonton and Elliott McEwen of Cold Lake, daughter in law Elaine McEwen as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Iona was predeceased by her son Robert McEwen, her brother Roy Hemond and her sister Ruby Perras. A prayer vigil was held on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Cold Lake, Alberta. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Thursday, November, 29, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Assumption Roman Catholic Church with Father Hamilcar Blanco as the celebrant. Interment followed at Our Lady of Assumption Roman Catholic Cemetery, Cold Lake, Alberta.
