Obituary of Raphael Blackman

BLACKMAN, Raphael October 14, 1926 – October 17, 2012 Born on October 14, 1926 at Cold Lake First Nations, Mr. Raphael Blackman of Cold Lake First Nations passed away in Bonnyville at the age of 86 years. Raphael will be lovingly remembered by his wife; Bernadette, children; Adelard, Ken, Freda and Bruce, his grandchildren; Shiela, Ben, Amy, Lance, Kennedy, Luke, Jonathan, Jeffery, Keith, Cassandra and Garrett, 1 great grandchild and his sister Matilda. Raphael was predeceased by his parents; Lenore and Charles Blackman and his brother Francis Blackman. A prayer vigil was held on Thursday and Friday, October 18 and 19, 2012 at the Cold Lake First Nations Band Hall. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Raphael’s Roman Catholic Parish, Cold Lake First Nations with Father Mario Jubinville as the celebrant.
